About the owners:
Steve White – Director of Marketing and Sales
Reno Passport magazine co-owner and co-founder Steve White wears a lot of hats. He began as the editor for the first two years of the magazine’s existence. Recently he has taken the role of Director of Marketing and Sales to change things up. During the day he is an environmental consultant at a local Reno civil engineering firm. At night, Steve meets with artists, promoters, and business owners to plot world domination. Baldo Bobadilla – General Manager/Co-Editor
A native of Paraguay, Reno Passport co-owner/co-founder Baldo Bobadilla moved to Reno in 1995 to pursue his educational goals, graduating from the University of Nevada Reno’s Civil Engineering program. As the founding member and guitarist of the popular Reno based dance band Drinking with Clowns, Baldo performs in venues across Northern Nevada. His vision for Reno Passport is to help his adopted city thrive culturally, consciously, and economically–exposing the world to Reno’s hidden treasures, and left asking “Where’s Baldo?” Baldo is the General Manager and also contributes to the editorial development of the magazine and oversees magazine/website operations. Hernan Sosa – Art Director
Hernan Sosa a co-founder and co-owner is the man behind the slick print graphical appearance of Reno Passport Magazine. Hernan is the art director for the magazine and continues to develop eye catching covers the make the magazine jump off of the rack. His colorful and visually pleasing cover story spreads in the magazine month after month keep readers picking up the magazine to see what is next. Jana Jin – Account Executive/Events
Jana Jin is an advertising executive at Reno Passport. Jana also assists in event planning. In a strange land, far.. far.. away from normal society, on August 24, 1982 was born a ninjew in Reno. They named her Jana Jin. The name and news of this highly intellectual and skilled lore spread across the town, then throughout the state, dispersing across the nation.. and finally proliferating around the world. janajin@renopassport.com
