City Wide Event Demonstrates that Nevada Has Talent!

Sparks’ Got Talent Showcase Will Draw Thousands for July 4^th Celebration

Who: Homeslice Productions, Studio on 4^th, Sparks Chamber of Commerce, Model Dairy

When: Saturday, July 4^th 2009: 11:00am to 4:00pm

Where: The peninsula on the Sparks’ Marina

What: Sparks’ Got Talent – a part of Star Spangled Sparks – features forty four local singers, dancers, magicians, and martial artists competing for cash prizes.

Background: Previously known as Sparks Idol, the first annual Sparks’ Got Talent features forty-four local singers and dancers as well as a martial arts act and a magician. The event is an outdoor family event with performers competing in such categories as junior, adult, and crowd favorite. The event is a component of a larger all day celebration known as Star Spangled Sparks – which features free tethered hot ail balloon rides, a pancake breakfast, and a milk carton parade and boat races, put on by one of the major sponsors of the event, Model Dairy. The 9^th annual Star Spangled Sparks is a great community wide event that provides food entertainment, and fun-filed activities for the whole family.
