CONSTRUCTION CREWS CONTINUE TO MAKE PROGRESS ON RENO ACES STADIUM
Check out the live progress being made daily on The Reno Ace’s Web Cam provided by the City of Reno
Now that mass excavation and much of the concrete work is complete, construction crews continue on the quest to complete the 10,000-capacity Reno Aces stadium. Purchasing structural steel from across the nation, erection commenced on Oct. 27 and plans for the main stadium and suite structures will approach completion by the Thanksgiving holiday.
Construction of outfield scoreboard and signage structures will take place through December and January along with the receipt of roofing on all concrete masonry unit buildings. And while massive construction takes place outdoors, Devcon subcontractors act quickly to complete design-build projects in keeping with the ongoing stadium design.
“We’re very pleased with the progress on the stadium,” said Stuart Katzoff, managing partner of the Reno Aces. “The steel is going up quickly and before you know it we’ll be installing seats and laying sod. Devcon has done an excellent job of keeping the stadium on track and I look forward to cutting the ribbon on Reno’s first Triple-A baseball stadium this spring.”
