Fall Home Brew Contest
Get ready local Reno Brewers. The Sierra Tap House is putting on a Fall Home Brew Contest. A home brew is just as it sounds, beer that is made in your own home. You can buy all the items you need to brew such as yeast, malt, and hops in Reno and do it yourself. Local Reno home brewers will bring in their best brews to be judged by a Brew Master from the Sierra Nevada Brewery, located in Chico, California.
The new home brew themed event is becoming a big hit in Reno. The event will take place at the Second Street Plaza at Noon on August 30, so don’t miss it. The event is the same day as the 2nd Annual Truckee River Music Festival. There will be booths by Reno eNVy, Sierra Tap House, Beach Hut Deli and Java Jungle. The Fall Home Brew Fest is a free event, so come down and enjoy an affordable day of entertainment.
The winner of the home brew contest wins a VIP tour of the Sierra Nevada Brewery Brewery, Dinner and a chance to brew beer in the pilot brewery with the Sierra Nevada brewers.
