Bad Dog Chocolates

Reno has just about everything you could ask for in a city of its size. When it comes to culinary arts we have countless delicious eateries, fine wine shops, organic food outlets and unique bakeries. Currently, we all should have no problem spoiling ourselves with tasty food and drink all year long. But, of course we would gladly welcome any new-comer who promises to tease our taste buds. Over the last several months Bad Dog Chocolates has been gearing up its artesian-chocolate business to bring Reno a fine line of gourmet chocolate delicacies. Bad Dog Chocolates, owned and operated by Cyndi Brewer and Eric Fehr, got its name after Cyndi’s dog, Hana, tore into a batch of truffles Cydni had just hand crafted. Their gourmet chocolate line of products has been named Eden and will consist of more than 15 varieties of gourmet truffles, three varieties of moist and rich brownies, cashew brittles, chocolate-covered pretzels, and gourmet rubs and sauces for barbequing. The company sets itself apart from the local competition through its use of high-quality, fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations. Currently you can find Eden products at Ben’s Liquor, Butcher Boy, Kinder’s BBQ, Moxie Java, Bibo’s Coffeehouse and through their website at www.baddogchocolates.com. Look for the owners to open a storefront this winter and continue to seduce us with new artesian-chocolate products.
