Lovefest San Francisco Pictures and Review

Lovefest San Francisco
Lovefest in San Francisco was awesome. Reno Passport drove to Lovefest San Francisco to see what everyone was talking about. It turns out all the hype about Lovefest San Francisco is true. The event which took place on October 4, 2008 began with Love Parade, which is a parade of flatbed trailers with massive sound systems, industrial generators, DJ’s and lots of naughty girls in skimpy outfits. The event organizers shut down Market Street in downtown San Francisco to allow for the parade to occur. Freaks, hipsters, and burners alike attended this event decked out in great costumes.
Reno Passport danced along with the Love Parade floats, which ended up at Civic Center in front of City Hall in San Francisco. Once to Civic Center the parade floats parked and DJ’s played until 7pm that night. Some of Reno Passport’s favorite included the Purgatory Cruiser, Neuroweapon and the San Francisco Drum and Bass parade floats.
We saw DJ sets by Evan Bender of Lake Tahoe, Mozaic of San Francisco, and many others. We will certainly be attending Lovefest 2008 San Francisco. Reno Passport gives Lovefest two thumbs up.
There were plenty of Late Night Lovefest events after the event. The Reno Passport crew started at the ‘Love of the Bass’ event at the Cell Space in the Mission. It was an all ages event with lots of pacifiers. The music was good, An-Ten-Ae (Adam Ohana) played a great set. At 4am we charged over to the Anon Salon party where we danced with Lovefest attendee’s and trannies. The Reno Passport wrapped up the night at ‘The End Up’ a classic late night venue.
Here is a slide show of all the photos and pictures that were taken at the weekend of Lovefest 2008.
