On Wednesday, October 29th a group exhibition of The Pendant Show including the work of jewelry designer Mark Garbarini will take place at the Velvet Da Vinci Gallery, with an artists’ reception on Friday, October 31st from 6-8pm.
Mark Garbarini combines the ancient art of silversmithing with contemporary lighting design to create a unique illuminated sterling silver jewelry collection. His handmade jewelry uses light to reveal the intricacy and natural beauty of gemstones.
Garbarini studied art at the University of Oregon and jewelry design at the Revere School of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, California. He currently resides in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Garbarini shows his work in numerous stores throughout California. This will be his first exhibition.
