New Reno Bar Saint James Infirmary

Reno Passport would like to welcome the newest bar to Reno, The Saint James Infirmary.  The new spot is located on California Avenue just east of Arlington Avenue, across the street from LIV  boutique.  Reno Passport got a sneak peek tour of the venue with Owner by Arthur Farley and Managed by Zak Girdis.  The inside of the bar is dark and has a similar feel as the Chapel Tavern in midtown.  The St. James Infirmary will be a great addition to the Cal Ave bar scene.

The management team is trying to avoid targeting a demographic.  They want St. James Infirmary to be a neighborhood bar with a diverse crowd.  During the walk-through yesterday Farley and Girdis told Reno Passport that they hope to have all City of Reno building department permits in hand this week.  The Saint James Infirmary is hoping for a soft opening later this week, which will be followed by a media opening and then a Grand Opening for the public in early to mid December.  The owners are excited to be a part of the scene development in downtown Reno.  The Saint James Infirmary will be a nice complement to the constant revitalization process occurring in downtown and adjacent neighborhoods.

Reno Passport welcomes the Saint James Infirmary to the Cal Ave neighborhood, which gives us another bar to frequent that is walking distance from the Reno Passport headquarters.  Look for the detailed article in Reno Passport Magazine.  Check out the upper deck, watch out Silver Peak on wonder street, here comes another great roof top view.  By Steve White
