Top 5 Pro Football Teams of 2008

NFL football is back, and now our lives can resume normalcy again. Look for surprises and hard hits from the top teams and athletes in pro football this season. Sorry Giants fans, New York will not be a factor this year, but here’s our picks for the best of the best in the NFL in ‘08.

1Top Pro Football Team in 2008 The Dallas Cowboys - If late season disharmony (choking) doesn’t cause the league’s most stacked team (they return 11 Pro Bowlers) to derail, the tough NFL

East competition just might. Look for the high-powered offense to light it up again as Romo shares the wealth. 14-2.

2 Top Pro Football Team in 2008 The San Diego Chargers - Tomlinson will rush for 1,600 yards and Rivers will throw 30+ TD’s as the bolts get their mean on, with the NFL’s deepest defense (with or without the gimped-up Merriman) and a serious chip on their shoulders. 13-3.

3 Top Pro Football Team in 2008 The New England Patriots - Softer in all areas except their juggernaut offense, look for weaknesses in special teams and defense to torpedo the Pat’s Super Bowl aspirations this season. 12-4.

4 Top Pro Football Team in 2008 The Indianapolis Colts - With their core in tact, the Colts will methodically pick apart much of the competition in a tough AFC South. 11-5.

5 Top Pro Football Team in 2008 The Buffalo Bills - The surprise team of 08 will be the Bills. Second year men Trent Edwards at QB, Marshawn Lynch at RB and a talented wide out tandem of Hardy and Evans, should allow holdout Pro Bowler tackle Jason Peters to reconsider being a tool. Solid off season veteran defensive additions will make the Bills exciting to watch and a definite playoff team. 10-6.
