Nightlife Review Archie’s Bar and Grill

As we walk up to the recently-remodeled Archie’s Giant Hamburgers, which reopened its doors last spring, the unique exterior architecture stood out. The aluminum paneling and cinder block walls give the building an urban contemporary feel.  Archie’s boasts two floors, the upper level being a sports bar theme and restaurant and the lower level restaurant is reminiscent of an oldies diner.  The building is surrounded by patios and tables so you can enjoy the views from this perch while sipping on your favorite frothy beverage of choice.
The menu includes the tasty bar-food items including burgers, hot wings and a variety of large sandwiches.  The restaurant opens early for breakfast.  They also serve lunch and dinner, typically closing their doors around 1 a.m.  This is going to be a perfect place to meet before and after Wolf Pack football and basketball games.  Archie’s boasts one of the best views in Reno.  From the patio you can see Mackey field, downtown Reno, the Sierras and Peavine, all from one location.  This place is going to overflow with tipsy coeds during the upcoming Wolf Pack football games.  Archie’s is the real deal, we will certainly return for more.
