To help celebrate its grand opening this summer, The Legends at Sparks Marina hosts a Free Summer Concert Series every Saturday evening from 6 – 8 p.m., through Aug. 29. Continuing this Saturday, June 27, The Legends outdoor areas host a variety of popular musical acts, with the highlight of it all being a free concert Aug. 1 from hit band Smash Mouth, famous for songs such as “Allstar,” “Walkin on the Sun” and “I’m a Believer,” followed by a fireworks show over the Sparks Marina.
“We really just want people to come out, have a good time and see what The Legends is all about,” said The Legends’ General Manager Dennis McGovern. “And our Free Summer Concert Series is a great way to do that. We encourage everyone to come and enjoy the atmosphere and the free music because the concert series is only the tip of the iceberg.
