Artown ~ Entire Month of July

This July Artown celebrates its thirteen year by bringing local and out of market acts for culturally starved Reno. Months of planning go into the development of Artown. This year many local musicians and small businesses are contributing to the event. Reno groups including the River School, Artisans Fairtrade, Nevada Museum of Art, Bruka Theater and many others are hosting art events for Artown.

Artown 2008 boasts 350 separate Artown events from musical concerts, dancing, art shows, and much more. You can expect new activities daily through the entire month of July. This year music headliners include music acts such as Andrew Bird, Ringo Starr and the Harlem Gospel Choir. Here are Reno Passport Magazines Top 5 picks for Artown 2008.
