Truckee Dining Review El Toro Bravo

Mike Guzman and his staff have been serving up Truckee’s best for the last 20 years, and have been doing it in Capitola, California for forty! This family-owned business knows authentic Mexican food.  Everybody knows each other; it’s all handshakes and hugs once you make it through the door.  During the summer, the outdoor patio is the place to be comfortable and is quite entertaining.

Favorite dish is easily the #7 - Carnitas with rice and beans.  Amazing doesn’t begin to describe the way the crispy texture simply melts in your mouth. The rice and beans set off the unique flavor of the dish, but definitely have their own experience.  The fresh Ceviche is another favorite as an appetizer.  El Toro Bravo is located in the heart of Downtown Truckee on the West end of Commercial Row.
